Message 1). 20 runs on the dyno? That 20 runs that you KNOW about represent EVERY SINGLE RUN EVER DONE on my 300. This includes the Stage 3 dyno, stock turbo'd dyno, T25/T28 dyno, and the TD 05 dyno.
:This is easy enough for me to go and pull from the dyno shop along with the date and data from each run.

My mistake. But It wasn't on the first run on the dyno. My point is if it were a bearing clearance issue it would have occured earlier then after 1000 miles and several pulls on the dyno.

2). E-MAILS - When told of the knock here is part of your response in your words: "LOL. We did roughly $75K with them last year alone. That is well over 25 full motor builds. I have had a few come back with rod bearing failure but it was no way a result of bad machine shop work." ALSO, "I can tell you now it is not a torque or clearance issue with your motor. If it was it would have showed up within the first 250 miles. I know what you will find in your motor from the clues you gave in your posts and I guarantee it won't be a machine shop error".
:*If you feel I did not represent the true spirit of your e-mail, then let me know and I will post it in its entirity.*
: First time the motor is spun up it knocks. If the motor was babied enough during the break-in process I have little doubt a clearance issue could keep its head buried through that. ALL the machine shops I have talked to have agreed with me on this point.

Both the statements in the email are true. I will be willing to send an Email to a non involved party with my prediction about what I *think* happened. I bet I am very close and when it is finally taken apart and inspected we can have the Non involved party cut and paste the email to see if I am right. I am not saying that i will be right but I have a very strong feeling from your posts that I know what caused your problem. Like I said in my post.....you are more then welcome to send it to me for warranty evaluation.

3). OWNERSHIP - The fundamental issue that I have with our past interactions has been your complete lack of ownership. What interests me is that if anyone were to ask you about why this car/motor project was removed from your shop, there would not be any issue in which you would accept responsibility. If there was a way you could point fault at me, you would. We both know how it went down and we both know you will have a hard time pointing a finger my way with any of it. Heck, you even told me last time that YOU were the one who ended the relationship.
:*This is important because if and when your customers were to have an issue with one of your motors, they no doubt want a friendly, helpful voice on the other end.*

Actually I accept some of the blame for having to end our relationship. I made mistakes that came to light after we decided to part ways that I accepted responsibilty for. I accept the fact that I can not please 100% of the customers 100% of the time but I also have a very strong relationship with 99% of my customers.

4). High Performance Engine Warranties: & (JDM used Engines ).....If this had just to do with used JDM motors then it would be easy enough to just state that fact. If this warranty issue is not meant to include your "High Performance Engine", then it should be an easy enough matter to remove that verbage from your webpage and give your customers a bit more confidence in what they are purchasing.

How much more could I do other then the "1 year warranty against defects" that is posted right on the engine building page??? That is pretty easy to understand. The reason the JDM motor warrnaty is worded like that is the fact that we sell built motors from Japan from companies like JUN. Since we did not put them together we do not warranty them...the company that built them does.

5). Motor removal and inspection: Based on our long standing track record, the motor will stay HERE and be broken down by an independent machine shop. Documentation will be extensive and will be shared with the forum.

Yeap...you have already made that very clear on the forum and through emails. You have also made it clear to me that you plan on taking legal action. So excuse me if I seem alittle defensive :-). My offer still stands though...If you want to take advantage of our 1 year warranty that we give every customer with our motor builds....all you have to do is bring me the long block for inspection. I will be glad to provide pictures for you to post all over the forum.
